Black and white

Today I am going to be posting about a home learning blog except i'm at school so yeah. I am going to be doing a blog post called black and white it is where  you wake up and the whole world is black and white and then you have to write what colors you would miss and why?. I then have to ask a family member the same thing but i'm at school so I will have to ask a teacher or classmate.

Me
I think I would miss blue because the sky is blue and the sky is special because it is a way to calm people down.
Green because that is the colour of grass and sometimes I just love to lie down on the grass.
Yellow because it is the colour of the sun and the sun is important.

My teacher(Miss Taylor)
Green because it is just her favorite color
Orange because of the richness and the warmth
Yellow because it reminds her of the sun and warmth

Today I am going to be blogging about GUMBOOT FRIDAY!!!. Do you know what the purpose of gumboot Friday is? no? if not then I will tell you. Gumboot Friday is to raise money for people that have mental health like for example depression or anxiety. We wear gumboots because for the people that suffer mental health are always walking in mud(in their head). My school raised $141.30 and that contributes to the 2 million dollars NZ has raised together.

My first person story

Top of the mornin to ya laddies it is Rhys,
Today I am going to be posting about my wonder first person recount. Do you know the wonder story? If you do please say in a comment below and did you like it(the story/movie) do you prefer the book or movie if you have read/watched both of them. I am not finished yet so it is a work in progress but if I have time I will add the rest. It is the start bit of the book version so please tell me what you think about it.

My story: Hi my name is August Polman,

and I have an older sister called Via(olivia) and a mum an dad. I also have a dog called daisy, she’s
really cool and small.

Today I am going to a tour of my first school ever because I have been homeschooled. It was a short
drive to beacher prep school where I was going to go for my new school. We were led into the school
by Mr Tushman “yeah I know funny name” he told us all the names he had been called over the years
tushie, tush tush,but man and but face I couldn’t hold it in at this stage so all my laughter I had came
pouring out into the warm afternoon air.

We entered the building and met a lady called Mrs Garcia she told me to call her Miss G, I was feeling
good at this stage until… . We entered Mr Tushman's office there were kids there waiting I could hear
them in the hall. Mr Tushman introduced them as Julian, Charlotte and Jack Will. Julian looked up for a
split second and shook my hand then shot his head down Jack Will did the same but Charlotte didn’t
shake my hand she just looked up and gave me a little wave and said hi I said hi back she didn’t do
anything just looked down like the boys did.

Mr Tushman said they were taking me on a tour if that was ok with me and mum I didn’t say anything
but mum said that was fine I was mad at her now but my bangs covered my face so she couldn’t see
my expresion “is that ok with you August?” said Mr Tushman. I didn’t answer “is that ok august?” said
mum sounding a bit annoyed and angry now. I looked at her and saw fear in her eyes and she looked
even more scared than me “yes that's fine” I mumbled.

Julian was in the front of the other kids as we left the room “our homeroom is room 301 and we have Ms Petosa she is ok but I heard that she’s strict if you get her for maths”exclaimed Julian. “NO SHE IS NOT!”(pause)“my sister got her for math last year and she said she was good!” said Charlotte “whatever clam down”Julian said. (5 minutes later) We arrived outside our homeroom earlier I was thinking it was different to what it was, Julian half opened the door and stood in the way so I could only see through the window that I was looking at before.

Next was the science room MY FAVORITE Julian did the same thing at this door and talked about a science teacher that was probably going to be our science teacher. “Dude let him have a look”came Jack Will’s voice from behind me, Jack pushed past Julian and opened the door for me and Julian moved out the way quick like I was going to touch him and give him a plague or something. Julian explained what the things like “these are chairs these are tables these are microscopes this is a blackboard these are rubbers”
